Dr. Li-hsuan Cheng, Professor of Department of Sociology, NCCU was invited by CJS on Oct. 28, 2014, to provide his observation and comment on the impact of the aging and shrinking population in Japan. Dr. Cheng's lecture shared rich information in perspectives with the audience and Dr. Cheng gave thought-provoking reminding about the similar, or even severer, population problem in Taiwan. Dr. Cheng's lecture is part of his initiatives to waken the Taiwanese society to focus the population problem in near future.
