On Dec. 24, 2014, Dr. Kuo Yujen was invited by the R.O.C. Naval Academy to lecture on the transformation of the U.S.-Japan Alliance. Dr. Kuo elaborated to the Navy officers the nature and the function of U.S.-Japan Alliance, and the changing division-of-labor between the U.S. and Japan in the framework of the Alliance. RADM. Chen Shin-Fa, the Superintendent of the Academy, expressed his appreciation of Dr. Kuo's lecture, and has expected the further exchange between the ROC academy and NSYSU.
