20150710 The Second Taiwan -Japan Strategic Dialogue
The Second Taiwan -Japan Strategic Dialogue ended successfully at Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) in Tokyo. 14 Japanese scholars from various think tanks and institutes and 10 Taiwanese scholars who specialize in East Asia security issue, foreign policy and strategy attended this significant event. The two-day agenda consists of four topics: Japan - US - China Relations and the Importance of Taiwan Factor, Evaluating Cross-strait Relations during the Ma Ying-jeou Administration and Future Prospect, The Potential Impact of ‘One Belt One Road‘ and Responses of Japan and Taiwan and The Regional Security Environment in East-Asia and the Possibility of Japan-Taiwan Cooperation. During the dialogue two sides exchanged perspectives regarding the changing dynamics of the Asia-Pacific.
