Dean Zhang Qilu praised the accomplishment of Center of Japan Studies and appreciated the contribution of Director Lin Wen Cheng and CEO Kuo Yujen. Dean Zhang encouraged the Center of Japan Studies to be: 1. The hub for Japan studies in Southern Taiwan that connects all Japan studies-related resources in Southern Taiwan. 2. The cradle for future Japan studies graduate students that inspires undergraduate students to devote in Japan studies by establishing the Japan Industrial International Program. 3. The bridge for closer Taiwan-Japanese tie. 4. The think tank that consults for government and corporations in terms of Japan-related Policy Recommendations 5. The bridge between enterprises and students. Dean Chang appreciated the members of Center of Japan Studies for their contribution and showed his full support to the development of Center of Japan Studies.
