The Third Taiwan -Japan Strategic Dialogue ended successfully at Institute for National Policy Research (INPR)in Taipei on May 29. 14 Japanese scholars from various think tanks and institutes and 12 Taiwanese scholars who specialize in East Asia security issue, foreign policy and strategy attended this significant event. The two-day agenda consists of four topics: Cross-Strait Relations and Japan, China and Japan in the Asia-Pacific, War and Peace in the South China Sea and Taiwan-Japan Partnership in Coping with China Rising. During the dialogue two sides exchanged perspectives regarding the changing dynamics of the Asia-Pacific.
