Co-hoseted by TSJS and Center for Japanese Studies (National Taichung University of Science and Technology), the Third Japan Research Youth Forum was held on June 9th, 2017 in Taichung.

11 articles were selected to be the finalists. After given remarkable presentation, 2 finalists were awarded "Excellent Thesis Award". The winners list is as follows:

In the Opening Remarks, President of National Taichung University of Science and Technology, Dr. Hsieh Chun-Hung and Presiend of TSJS, Lin Wen-Cheng both encourages students to participate Activities such as Youth Forum so that they can have more academic experiences. Finally, Dr. Fan Shi-Ping as the director of board members of TSJS gave a keynote speech on the topic about "Strategic Competition between Taiwan, Japan and China: The Development and Significance of Three Bilateral Relations."
